I posted recently about my husband's name being entered incorrectly in the DHS database, and how it prevented us from getting him a SSN. He's at deferred inspection at CBP today to try to have it fixed and found out something much worse: he's in the system as having a K1.

WHAT.

The visa in his passport is correct so I don't understand how this could've happened.

ISSUED!!!!!! Visa ISSUED!!!!!! Woot Woot!!!!!!! I screamed and jumped on my hubby. He had no idea what was going on haha.

Praise God. So happy. Goodness I need a drink. You had me going. Was about to strap up and come and kick down some embassy doors. Congratulations. :goofy: Run do not walk and get that Visa package. I want to hear you have in your hands, Report back.

I remember you mentioning there was some confusion on the part of the dude at the Dublin airport when he got pre-clearance. I wonder if what's when this happened? UNREAL!

Using the instructions on here to fins out about tracking your packets, i.e. EXP 27 JUL 2014A (but changing the date range) has anyone got this to work for July? - Any date

Sure. That EXP date has to be precise. its picky. You have to play with it.

Perhaps I am at the wrong DHL tracking site ..... i tried every date from EXP 01 JUL 2014A to EXP 31 JUL 2014A ....

Congratulations to everybody who already have visa or interview appointment and good luck to everybody waiting.

Today we knew our interview date-September 23 but we dont have the e-mail yet.

I wonder when we should call the embassy for earlier date?

Does the status on the CEAC site say In Transit or At NVC?

Mine is still at NVC, however I am just trying to find any on the DHL site that have been sent so that i know the process works ... so far on the DHL site using the method stated i can't see any that have been sent....

Hehe Sorry missed this. I went out to dinner with a friend who finished his Visa journey like 2 years ago and I had 3 glasses of moscato and was knocked out when i got home. Baby sleeping on my chest and phone in hand. I was a mess.

Oh my goodness what a mess. Do they have his Green card correct or is that what they are trying to fix. And it's humans they make mistakes. So sorry. Goodness he is here and still craziness.

Officially would not recommend Dublin for preclearance.

Well yesterday and today NVC been busy shipping out I got plenty. I used EXP 25 JUL 2014A (usually Fridaus and mondays is their ship out of Boston day). NVC may say it left 25 thats their hands but it gets sent to Boston and not until they ship usually 2 days later it gets logged in to track.
