If you are lucky, really soon. My husband's has been stuck on "Ready" since last TUESDAY.

Wow! How annoying an nerve wracking that must be. I'm hoping I'm done by Friday, so stressful to the very end.. this never gets easy...

Visa APPROVED!!!!!! Everything went well. I was super nervous and my husband was not lol. They allowed me to be with him at all times, except when it was time for the interview I couldn't say anything

The whole process is non stop checking! check USCIS, check NVC, check DHL, check CEAC....I'm sick because everyday I wake up first thing is to check....so sad for all of us.

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

I checked when I got up, it was AP (it wasn't last night), I went to the kitchen to get a coffee, went on VJ on my phone, and then decided to check again! And it was changed! I am super happy but still I have a bad feeling, maybe it's not really printed... Edited by MsGoyave

The issue is not what an employer can or cannot do. The real issue is your intentions when you approach the POE. B1/B2 status and job hunting break the dual intent ban rule. Why then do you think tourist and student visas are so hard to get in places like Egypt or India?

Murphy's law predicts that: The Officer will ask you why you're stopping at X city. You will let slip that you'll be attending a job interview. The Officer will cry foul and deny you entry. You will argue heatedly over the issue. And finally, the Officer will cancel your B1/B2 visa with prejudice and adds a 3-5 years ban for good measure.

This actually happened to people! Please do not under-estimate the discretionary power given to CBP Officers.

I fully get your point, however I do not need a B1/B2 visa to travel to the US, UK citizens can travel under the VWP.
