You are stressing yourself out! Look at dwheels' spreadsheet. Interviews almost always begin scheduling the last few days of the month and from what I've observed it usually starts on Tuesday. You're in queue for a September interview (assuming South Africa isn't like Egypt where it takes 4-6 months to get an interview), just try to remember to breathe!

You are right bdrew612, I am stressing for nothing. Once they do start scheduling, I don't think South Africa is very busy. I'm not too worried when the interview is, I just want to know when it is. Thanks for reminding me to just BREATHE!

Don't worry about them thats their pat answer for interview "they are scheduled the 2nd week of the month". Look at the spreadsheet you know that not to be true.

Visa APPROVED!!!!!! Everything went well. I was super nervous and my husband was not lol. They allowed me to be with him at all times, except when it was time for the interview I couldn't say anything

I Don't think it's completely fixed..I also read on the Naples consulate page that they have limited non immigrant visa appointments, so they aren't back on track yet.. :( Praying for you and everyone waiting for their visa to receive it soon!

did you show them copies or you had another pile of originals?

I had a whole new set of originals for them. They had everything NVC sent them right in front of them, and yet they asked for everything again. The only thing I had a copy of was my Income Tax, W2, and recent paystubs.
