Hey the package for my wife came a few days ago.

So it came to Mississauga on lets say Monday the 21st. then she emailed the Loomis people and told them she would like it couriered to her the few was like 20$ or so. It arrived on Wednesday.

To be safe we booked a ticket beforehand for August 6th.

On Monday we said to ourselves no that's wayyyy too far so then we booked a ticket for July 31st. Payed 80$ for the new flight date and they waived the 200$ change flight fee...

We picked that date to give the courier ample time...

He arrived like two days later and we were just like YAY the 31st. is too far away xD

So just called again paid a 109$ fee got the 200$ fee waived again and got a flight for Monday lol as you can tell we are just way too excited. Anyways best of luck to you and everyone else on their journey!

Will let you know her experience going through customs or w.e. it's called cause that's what she is most worried about.

Great news, so from the interview to delivery of the package was only 3 business days if you went to pick up the package yourselves. My interview is August 5th and we are hoping to have the package delivered by August 8th, by the 10th I want to be on my way out. I am not booking yet any flight till I get the issue notification(did you get a notification of delivery of package?). Why is your wife so worried going through POE? Please let us know how it goes and I will send you good vibes from Montreal. :luv:(F)

Yay I finally got my wife a plane ticket home! Exactly one year since we submitted the I-130 to the day (July 30th). I'm soooo thankful this wait is finally over. Hope you guys have a successful end to your processes as well. Eid Mubarak everyone!

Yep. It goes from READY--> ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING--> ISSUED and then they call you to pick up the visa :)

OH!! Thank you! Can't wait to see the magic "ISSUED" I will answer the phone on the first ring and fly to pick up the visa! :goofy:

My husband was actually in the same case! Full time student so he wasn't required to file taxes. The only difference is that he was filed as a dependent on his father's taxes. Don't know if it changes anything. But they didnt ask for anything at the interview. Because I heard about the poor couple who went through AP for this we did prepare a copy of the IRS website stating that he didn't have to file taxes. Hope this helps!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

Thank you! It sucks, I am checking the status a bit too many times now! Let me know when it changes to AP or issued, so that I know it's soon my turn :-) At the interview they said maximum 10 business days... hope it won't take more time!

Let me know as well. You might get yours first than my husband lol. Do we have a lot of people waiting with us right now?

I can't remember who it was, or if it was even on this thread, but someone last week got their visa and the CEAC site still said 'Ready'. Can you phone or e-mail the place that's supposed to have your visa and get status? I'm thinking with the computer crash the CEAC site is running terriblt slow and is a bit behind.

That is a really good point. I've been checking the tracking number if our envelope too. If I don't see why changed by tomorrow, I'm calling. It will be a week tomorrow :(

See they going to make me hop a plane and kick some butt. What in the world :wow: . So sorry. But it will be in your hands soon. Hang on. (F)
