Visa APPROVED!!!!!! Everything went well. I was super nervous and my husband was not lol. They allowed me to be with him at all times, except when it was time for the interview I couldn't say anything

It is currently affecting me and my husband. His interview was Tuesday and according to CEAC, they are still ready for his interview. No AP or Issued Visa yet. If this hadn't happened, probably by Tueaday we would have had the Visa. So much depends on getting this Visa ASAP and here we are left in limbo.

See they going to make me hop a plane and kick some butt. What in the world :wow: . So sorry. But it will be in your hands soon. Hang on. (F)

Did they ask you for the petitioner's birth certificate?if so it's a photocopy ok or has to be original?

They have asked for beneficiary's birth certificate.

Good question!

But that is the main reason why you should Always get copies of everything you send to them.

But at interview they asked me for it again, Even though I also provided them on different occasions during this process.

We just finished with her interview this morning and everything went well. The actual interview was only about 5-6 minutes, the rest of the time was just waiting for them to get around to her. They didn't ask for any pictures, any convos, no proof of anything. Just certificates and that was it.

Bringing someone from a MENA country can be so bad but in our case either we got lucky, or to be realistic, it may be that much easier if the beneficiary is female and christian. I could be wrong but I'm just glad it worked out. We are so relieved that this process is just about over. They said the VISA should be delivered in about a week.

Is it normal that on the ceac status check, the "status updated date" is now July 27th and it still says ready? I find it weird that it was updated on a Sunday...

I passed the medical exam and the doctor gave me a piece of paper with info about next step i should take.

There is registration for passport delivery and filling DS-260 form!!!!!???? Whaaaat????

We filled the form for NVC already so do they ask about it???

Anybody experienced the same???

BTW: Got an email from embassy with the same BS, tried to called them but their number is constantly busy :///
