Yeah but the brown package got torn and now the embassy told me I'll need to go to Lisbon to get it resealed. (I sent them pictures and they actually wanted me to go to Lisbon after the date of my trip, or travel again to Paris . But i talked with Lisbon and they got me an early appointment).

I have interview on 19 august. Had a small query about AOS documents. Can someone please tell me what all documents (final checklist) is to be taken for AOS?

Oh thank goodness!!! Thanks for the update!

It still says "Ready" since the 22nd, which is the last date that it was accessed (interview date). Now we wait... Some more.

The girl who interviewed us did it all in English. Really young looking however.

I believe the Co you guys are referring was mine too, she did it all in English with me too.

I wonder about the Portuguese that do not speak English or French would the Portuguese lady had to translate?

Have they sent you a list? You should follow it, if you need help, just post it here and we will tell you what they meant.

And it has happened. People saying "he's married. He has wofe in village". They been fighting it and the USCIS I guess gave up and said couldn't find any evidence.

In Nigeria is notorious for "friends" to call embassy and tell lies so you go to embassy not fearing anything and all this BS comes up. I know a few denied and sent back over #######. They got the approval the next time around but they lost a year

Same here. Most likely they are doing it out of revenge for something that happened between the two a long time ago or jealously that they are moving to America. Who knows. I've heard this happening in Vietnam also, but I don't think a lot.

Our package finally arrived at the US Embassy in Bridgetown and the status showed "Ready" this morning. I immediately emailed the embassy asking for an earlier interview and received an email back before noon granting us a new interview for 11 August at 9am! woohoo!

You have to realize in some of these countries especially 3rd world where marriage fraud and romance scams are rampant someone who got "lucky" and got the "Golden ticket" as many call it the ones left behind are non to happy and will sabotage. I know of 3 friends when their husbands got approved their houses were burnt down all their evidence visa, medical destroyed. delay after delay it was sad.

Women showing up at embassy saying "Bob is leaving me and baby he meet foreign woman"....its all lies but enough to raise suspicion because well its Nigeria and people already suspect you of wrong doing.

Do they CC as soon as they review IV package if that's the only package(AOS approved, 261,260 also approved) left to be reviewed?

It makes me sad that people go out of their way to stop someone else's happiness. They forget that you get out of life what you put into it. Spread negativity and that's exactly what you get back.

If all is good, probably. I got check-listed, twice due to AOS , even got checklisted for the interview. But all went good, hope all goes smooth for you.
