Visa APPROVED!!!!!! Everything went well. I was super nervous and my husband was not lol. They allowed me to be with him at all times, except when it was time for the interview I couldn't say anything

I received the email this morning. I didn't call nvc to check the status, so I am not sure about the actual date.

they completed my case on June 24th, got the email today (after 7 days).

They usually sent CC email on 7th day of ur actual cc date. So ur CC date would b exactly 7 days back from today.

I also tried tracking the parcel left for mumbai, India on dhl. And I found one which left nvc on 27 and reached mumbai on 30. However I am not sure it's mine as the nvc case status still shows "at nvc".

I just wanted to know that, though I have received case completion email today, but the case might have got completed 3-4 days back is it?

Seems the CC email comes 1 week after give or take a few days. Only way to know the exact day is to call.

I'm going to write a full report of our experience on the embassy review page. One thing I should mention is they asked us for the confirmation page that DS-260 was filled out online. Also, the question that says "are you immigrating to the USA with your spouse?" I put "no" since people on here said I wasn't immigrating, just moving. Which made sense. But the interview guy said it was wrong and changed it to "yes" saying I would move with my husband after visa approval.

Anyways, we're going to our favorite restaurant today to celebrate!!!

Wow- it was old home week at the Sydney Consulate this morning!!! Had breakfast with Snikit15 and her lovely family, and saw Jajaju and Razspaz13!!!!!

Julie has been approved!!! Now we wait for her passport to come back to us!!! Our Case Officer did not give us a time frame but I overheard the CO in the next booth say it would take about one week. One year ago today, we received our NOA1! Whew!!!!!
