Letter from USCIS National Benefit Center

We got a letter last month from the national benefit center saying that our case has been identified as a potential interview waiver case. Maybe we won't have to go through an interview. It also says that due to workload factors not related, they expect a delay of about 6 months from the date of the letter in processing the case.

So I'm confused, where's my case at? I don't see the I-485 AOS from family even listed in the list of processing times at the NBC. How do I find out where they're at in processing?

I got my letter in March and was approved last week. But it's different for every case. Good luck!

Unfortunately, the NBC does not list I-485s on its processing times.

As Hypnos said, the NBC does not state I-485 processing times for K1's on their website, and unfortunately, approvals at the NBC seem rather random - some people wait 4 months, some wait 12+ months. My AOS took 8 months.

Been waiting since last Nov, interview waiver, I have EAD and AP so makes no difference right now, apart from having still to use the visitors queue at the airport.

Got a notice today that his card has been ordered. Here's to hoping it isn't a mistake like on the fiance visa lol....they approved it, then reopened it and sent an RFE and it took another few months! I looked at it just yesterday and it wasn't approved yet...but who knows. I won't hold my breath till they actually mail it LOL.
