TEXAS SERVICE CENTER annoyances

@Marco:

Well, depending on how long you have been waiting for TSC, a transfer to another center might delay it even

more.... they'll have to get the paperwork, go over it (again), etc etc....

I realize that. It's a sad fact.

@Yash. More delays. That's what would happen because Obama would undoubtedly give them precedence.

I must say that thanks to my fiancé (US citizen) I take the things with a lot of patcience. I guess thats an important part the emotional support from you significan other in this waiting time. A lot to plan on the road to let this process froze my life nowadays (the wedding and close alot of deals in my career before leave the country). I hope the best because, IMHO its not healthy thinks that its the end of the world just wait when its only the first step in all the process.

Only read the threads in the forum about a lot of divorces in the first six months after go through the first step (get the K1 visa in the passport) help me to see the things in another perspective, because I dont want that my fiancé start to think that im getting grumpy, hysterical and depressed to the point that he cant recognize me at all. Plus I know that things that are worth it takes time, yes, Im agree that its difficult be part of the TSC at the moment, but I prefere take a break from this site before start to hurting myself thinking to much about the first stage of the process.

I know that at least must be 5 months before get the NOA2 (and its not written in the stone, the government offices can deal with their backlog in the way that they considere, like me or not). I reached the point that I stop to compare the TSC and CSC process because nothing that I can do can change their own rythm of work. I dont compare myself with the illegal immigrants because my circunstances are way different, at least I will not be deported or living in the edge all the time with that fear, or my future family will be split cause the deportation.

As I said before, any administrative process means time, waiting and in the worst of the cases delays. Cheer up and keep strong, in the end our reward will be be with our loved ones

Best regards.

When you finally reach the point of no longer comparing TSC & CSC, you have truly transcended. It is best to not even look at those CSC threads. I sometimes go in just to say congratulations & then leave immediately without getting caught up into the whole conversation about how fast or slow people think the process went & all that stuff.

Feeding it is OK, as long as it doesn't cause you to become negative. If it does, take a break or find something positive to look at or do to spend your time while you wait.
