TEXAS SERVICE CENTER annoyances

If your process is one of the slower ones, it can make you feel even worse when you see multiple threads of newbies sharing their "good news" about their super duper mega ultra fast process of receiving an NOA1 in a day and an NOA2 in a week. Plus a fortnight until their interview date and the entire process from filing to visa in hand is completed in one month. I kid. But I'm sure it can feel like that for those who are waiting.

You exactly describe what happens in CSC. I mean it's not much longer than one months from start to finish in some cases. That's just not possible at TSC. I hope this VSC rumor will be helpful to TSC waiters.

I share your feelings of frustration with the randomness of the process. You don't know when you will reach the next milestone, why some petitions are fast and others go on forever. I am telling myself that this is not a normal part if life, that these feelings are human because this beaucracy is keeping me from my love, and that if I do my best with the paperwork I am doing everything I can. This is not the way life was meant to be lived, but it will pass.

I can't disagree with you. It's not a normal part of life, & yet everyone on this site has it as part of our lives. We soldier on together in our struggles to unite our families.

Alicia98981...I understand what you are saying... especially before we got our NOA2... What I did to keep myself busy so I did not stalk online all the time was I kept going through all the papers I would need for the next step of the process so when the time came.. I was ready. And I read.. and read, and read some more.. trying to find everything about Casablanca experiences! (they are one tough consulate!) I still *try* to not stalk processing times. It is frustrating! Hopefully it will go fast for you! Good luck! :star:

Ramadan Mubarak HettyandSaid!

I Completely agree with your statement above. I feel like my timeline is very similar to yours and I wish all the luck for you to be united. I'm praying in this holy month that we will have nothing but good news IA.

Good luck on your journey!

I think complaining after waiting less than a month for an NOA2 is quite amusing. I have been waiting for my NOA 2 almost 6 months now...6 months on July 9th. I have no RFE's, either. If you are already impatient at less than a month, I wonder how you will feel at the 5 month+ or longer phase....

Think positively, have endless amounts of patience, and have faith that all will work out. There is no rhyme or reason as to why TSC is slower than CSC, and I think many of us which we were part of that CSC crowd so we could have our loved ones here. Unfortunately, we deal with the cards we were dealt.

Wishing good luck to all those who have waited 5 months or longer for the NOA2..... our time will come.

I'm trying to figure out where in this topic the OP complained about not getting a quick NOA2...

I'm sure the OP realizes that the wait times between TSC and CSC are drastically different, they didn't make their account recently. So what if they filed a month ago, to me their post seemed like this: the OP knows they're in for a long wait since they're at TSC but they're having difficulty seeing the quick approvals from CSC. The OP is anxious and becomes more discouraged every time they see a CSC approval so quick, and all of us at TSC know how that feels. Despite the emotional torment the OP can't keep away, and the OP is looking for a suggestion on how to deal with this, or at least someone that can relate to their feelings.

(geez I said OP a lot, but I don't know what their gender is!)

You know, more irritating than the CSC filers on a TSC thread grinning about how the got their NOA2 after a short wait is a filer who has waited longer than someone else and feels the need to remind them and the rest of world. You clearly haven't read or understood the original post which brings attention to the fact that us newer filers realize it's a long wait, we know it's a long wait, and just like arrogant filers like you, we're anxious to be reconnected with our loved ones. It clearly is meant to be interpreted that knowing this, as our hearts aren't on the same page as our minds, this doesn't stop us from anxiously checking the status of other filers in hopes that theirs will be spread up faster or maybe even workload transfer will occur so that this long wait will go by faster. All of us going through TSC are waiting for the same outcome, so please go sit in your chair and calm your itchy fingers before you and any other TSC filer who has issues with us describing our personal experiences feelings with wait times feel the need to give your two cents. You ain't slick throwing out a shady good luck message as if that's supposed to make your comment less rude. Madness, you and other people walking around like your wait time and separation from your loved one is worse than anyone else because you filed sooner. . .

You've pretty much got it right. I'm describing how you know in your head that it's senseless to keep checking visa journey, but you do it anyway. I'm happy CSC filers have a short wait, and yes I wish ours could be just as short. But no I am not discouraged by the fast CSC approval in comparison with TSC. I made the post to see how others could relate to similar feelings. We knew going in this would be a long wait but knowing that doesn't make it any easier. Checking everyday is kinda like a mantra, we're one day closer to that NOA2 . . .

I think you are describing click therapy as a form of prayer...

What someone who is really bright needs to do is design a system that will get us to finished simply by visiting this site everyday...I would fund that tool :)

WOW! First and foremost, I was trying to describe how much patience one needs for this process at TSC, because it's definitely not a fast one. Like I said, many of us wish we were at CSC due to the quick turnaround, but again as I said "we are dealt the cards we are dealt". I give advice and have the right to say what I feel, as do others. I wasn't attackful or wicked negative. As far as my good luck message being "shady", you clearly have no clue! Thanks for your assumptions. We all know what happens when you assume. ;) I meant my good luck and advice with all positive vibes, because we ALL need patience when it comes to every step in this process. Some roads are short (depending on situations), and others are long. However, I find it interesting and absurd you think my good luck message had false intentions behind it, when in fact, I was trying to be encouraging. BTW.... I never said mine or anyone else's wait time was worse, when there are people on VJ who have waited over a year for JUST the NOA2. Just mentioning how long some people have waited to give you an idea of a perspective at TSC.

Calm down, think positively (yes, I truly mean that...whether you believe it or not is a different story), and look to the future.

Yeah we all know what you are going through as everyone on this site (Even CSC filers) as they were quite behind a while ago as well know how you are feeling and have felt anxious and stuff as well. I tend to just concentrate on working a second job to help pass time, save money, prepare for your fiance coming over and just occupying your time as best as you can. The ultimate most important thing is to just tell yourself that this situation will not be forever, we all will eventually get our NOA2 and be on our way and eventually be picking up our loved one from the airport to enjoy the rest of your life together. Even though the process is highly unfair (and believe me everyone here on this site feels and has been through those feelings and emotions) that you are feeling including myself. Try to relax and take a breath or two and just hold on and things will be alright. Tensions do raise high on here sometimes because of the TSC backlog and such, so I would not hold anything personal that someone might say as we are all going through the same journey you know? I wish you the best of luck, and a stress free journey :)

Now those at CSC are another story!!

A few people have posted threads lately claiming they've received notifications that their petitions have been transferred from TSC to VSC. I have yet to see a definitive confirmation.

Seems like there is an executive order to move immigration reform along. I'm not sure how this will impact I129F processing as I assume these applications would go to the service centers. Especially since it is being ordered to be done by the end of this summer. Any thoughts on this?
