Oh, my Carita moisturizer and JuicyTubes gloss! I buy Carita when I visit my fiance in Paris because it's about half the cost of what it is here in Boston.

vaseline.

I don't really wear makeup that often. I can't live without vaseline though. Before I go to sleep I put it on my feet, my hands, my elbows and my lips and they're soooooo soft in the morning!!!

The makeup that I do use when I put it on is Clinique and it's just under-eye cream, mascara and a brow pencil. My cheeks usually blush naturally so I don't need that and I don't bother with lipstick normally since it comes off two seconds after I put it on.

Nail Envy is awesome for growing strong nails too! That and my woman's one-a-day. :)

I use MAC lipliners, they are my favorite.

I am a Hairstylist so I can get hair and other beauty products for wholesale. Even in the US, I can shop at the suppliers with a Canadian licence!

I searched many years for the perfect lip moisturizer- Perscriptives lip specialist! It is amazing. Even in the Alberta winter, my lips stay really nice. And I love the Perscriptives virtual matte foundation and powder. It is cheaper in the States too!

I love LUSH!! I love almost everything there. I buy all my bath stuff there. I love the shampoos and conditioners as well.

Oh, that reminds me of bath products. I use Brown Sugar Body Polish almost every day, and I never ever need moisturizer for my body because it is SO smooth and silky from this stuff. I think I would die without it, and I'm not exaggerating even a little bit.

Not much of a fan of make-up. I have a porcelain complexion, and foundation has always made me toooo flawless. Like geisha.

Burt's Bees makes an awesome moisturizer called Vanishing Marshmallow Creme. Great if your skins tends towards dry. I also like their orange oil facial cleanser.

I have blonde eyebrows and eyelashes. That sucks. On a typical day I wear a little eyebrown pencil (maybelline in blonde) and Almay's mascara in Raisin Quartz, which is a sort of dark brownie-purple. One of Burt Bee's lipglasses, and I'm good to go.

I don't wear any make-up per se. I use a Whole Foods brand lip balm to keep my lips from getting totally chapped. The reason I use this particular one is because the scent is minimal. It's vanilla honey. All of the other billion lip balms I smelled were totally stinky (my sense of smell is very acute) or had ingredients that I perferred not to have on my body.

That's it. No perfume or anything else goes on me except for some lotion that has absolutely no scent. It can't be bought in stores, it's an online buy and I use a tiny bit for my face because it's so dry in the winter.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

I can't live without the eyeliner my mom buys at the drugstore right around the corner. I've tried all those fancy expensive ones but that 5 dollar one is the best! I already bought a few for when I move to the US.

David just got me the Victoria Secrets Very Sexy Lip Balm... so I'll see how much I'l like that. I'm guessing a lot! hehe

When I go out at night, I like to add the Avon Beyond Color foundation and use it just under my eyes. It makes them so much brighter!

I already have rosy cheeks and lips so I don't add color to them.

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

One thing I just can't get into is pencil eyeliner. I use eye shadow as liner instead with an eyeliner brush from MAC. It stays put and the line is not as harsh, I also find that I can get really close to my lash line that way.

Doodle, I use Nail Envy too and I just love it!

As far as skin products, I only use stuff from Jordan. My fiance sends me packages every so often full of skin products from the Dead Sea, they are by far the best I have ever used. The line is called Rivage and I believe you can buy it online but it is very pricey.

What I am looking for is a good deep conditioner that I can use at home, something that is preferably for curly hair which tends to be rather dry. Any ideas?

Honestly? I have curly hair what I've found works as an occasional deep-treatment: 1/8 cup olive oil, dash of lavender oil, massage it into your hair, braid hair, go to sleep. Put a T-shirt over the pillow so you don't muck it up. Next morning, shower, wash hair normally, rinse with apple cider vinegar. Do this once a month, and it's soft and shiny.

Have you tried the no-poo thing? I did it for awhile but didn't really see many benifits from it.

No-poo doesn't work for me. I work out too much. So I try less frequent shampooing.

Neglected to mention that it was my overpriced (but lovely) stylist who suggested the olive oil treatment.

Well I will just have to try that. Olive oil is something we always have in my house and I have a good size bottle of lavender oil that I got when I did the no-poo thing. Thanks!
