We have our case complete and PD is current (My PD NOV 2006 - F1) and it is still current I guess

So the story starts

I checked my case and it said "At NVC" then I sent an email to NVC few months ago they said we need to submit them documents so that they may arrange an interview , DS-260 thing is done already.

So we sent al our documents to the NVC and now its been over a month and We have not heard anything regarding interview

How much do people usually wait for the interview after everything being sent?

(I knw documents are sent at different points of immigration but I am talking about the point where everything is done just the interview is left)

Not really. NVC will review your documents within 20-30 business days. If they find everything acceptable, you will get a case complete email and you will just wait for the interview letter. If they find anything missing or there are errors in the forms/documents, you will get a checklist. Submit what is asked on the checklist and it will take another 20-30 business days for NVC to review the checklist documents then if everything is okay, case complete.

For F1 category, NVC gives out the interview letters every last week of the month to first week of the next month.

How did you get correspondence from NVC then? Snail mail?

I mean how were you (or your petitioner) informed of your case number etc...?

I actually emailed to NVC, in reply to that email they told me to send all the documents, Actually our case is been handled by a lawyer in the States, so I guess he must have given his email or something. My aunt is applying for all of us. (specifically for my mother) i have joined the forum on behalf of my mother.
