That seems awfully restrictive of my liberty. Why not just mandate that everyone must wear underwear and mandate underwear manufacturers install odor absorbing materials on their product? Then instead of infringing on the liberties of all, you only infringe on the liberties of those who like to go commando and on the liberties of underwear manufacturers.

It's a long-standing issue, to be sure. Partly because America has always had open borders, and no (little) negative repercussions on illegals. Leave the kids, as technically they are citizens if born here. Kick the illegal parents out. Make the kids petition their families legally. Easy to say, hard to do. But I feel it's the RIGHT thing to do...

He had the leadership to get OBL. I give him that free and clear. If that mission had failed he would have been toast. I think when conservatives try to take that from him that act as bad as the people with Bush derangement syndrome.

Health care-Mixed bag. Something had to be done, maybe now that we are off the cliff something can happen that will make it better. I am afraid putting insurance companies in charge will only make medicine more expensive. We have a world class system that produces the best outcomes in the world. However as a % of gdp, access and cost we are paying way way too much for healthcare. His admin did flub the roll out of obama care by once again using cronies and under the table dealings .

Minimum Wage- If he would stop encouraging illegal immigration that would fix itself. Can you imagine if you kicked out the 12 + million illegals. the labor supply would be so low, no one could pay min wage and get workers, and their would be jobs for all the welfare people. Illegal immigration and his support of it is killing the economy

As for his diplomatic efforts and ending wars.. More soldiers killed in Afghanistan under Obama and it looks like we are heading back to Iraq

The economy is still a mixed bag. the GDP is down and the stock market is super over priced and ready for a huge correction that is going to really nail the economy

The main issue with his admin is the gross grab of power by the executive branch, his failure to being transparency that he promised. The many scandals and ethics problems that are plaguing his admin

Agreed. So far he has no tbeen better or worse than anyy other president before him. Washington, reflective of America, is not a plce that embraces change. Everyone likes the status quo and no matter what your intentions, you will need to negotiate your way throug the political maze our government has become.

Just typing is a trial. But my wife shared something with me yesterday. There's a chart that breaks down the fasting hours in various places from the shortest to the longest. We're around 17 hours. Sydney, Australia is the shortest(8 hours) with Alaska being the longest(22 hours).

Thank you and here is my rub with you. You never seem to comment on a view point or join in any conversation I am having with a counter view point. You come in with some veiled insult that is right below the threshold of personal attack, or attack some little part of my post that has nothing to do with the post itself, then act so super offend when I don't embrace your greatness. Then you start talking about class and respect and politeness, and how we should all respect each other in this forum, when you yourself don't practice it .

You very often post off topic, then threaten me for doing it, and actually had the delusion of grandeur to"Warn Me". As for the Left screaming about this or the Right screaming about that. I suspect you are smart enough to understand that "screaming" is a metaphor/allegory meant to illustrate an almost unanimous viewpoint echoed in unison by a certain political ideology. It could be expressed equally by saying the Left or right clamors for, demands action, constantly protest for, etc etc ad nauesm . So if you want to pretend that you understand that analogy, as me literately accusing people of screaming. Then by all means go right ahead. I will continue to assert you have limited understanding, which I do not think is the case.

Here's a thought, why don't you answer to what you see people have written in their post without scrambling it up with preconceived ideas about what people on the "left" think? Every time you respond with "the trouble with lefties is..." you completely disconnect from responding to a person's specific take on a given issue and ascribe a left wing group think (with all the predjudices you hold against those who you perceive to be on your left ideologically ) to that post. That is not only intellectually dishonest but also disrespectful to the person you are responding to. Try a little intellectual respect and you might get some in return.
