Well, I posted a review for the interview in the embassy review section, go check it out. The waiting period is tough but it is what it is.

I have some additional info I'd like to share with you.

For the medical, we used Dr. Victor (cost $280 USD). He had it done two weeks prior to the interview.

All cases are different but we had one or two eyebrow lifting facts, I think, you be the judge.

My paystubs, at the time of interview (June 30, 2014), to prove employment were dated December 2013 (did not use employment letter).

My tax transcript for year 2013 had a filing status of Single (thanks to my apparently uninformed cpa who encouraged me to do so) but the issue did not come up during the interview.

We submitted a total of 18 pics. We've been together for over 10 years so we chose our pictures carefully, the few we selected showed clearly the evolution of the relationship (eight to NVC and 10 at interview). We went the quality over quantity route.

No chat logs although I sent a total of 7 screenshots of recent whatsapp convo and about 6 emails going wayyyyyyyy back.

Call records and a copy of entry/exit stamps in passport.

According to my husband the interview went smoothly.

When you did your medical did you bring it the day of the interview or does it have to be submitted through Haiti Messenger?

Hi, I haven't been around lately. My husband brought the medical results in the sealed envelope to the interview.

Thank you for talking about your experiences. I'm currently going through the k1 process with my fiancé and am worried once things get to haiti that they will be slow. Anyone have a difficult time getting a police certificate in haiti? Also do you know how long those are valid for? Thanks.

You can obtain The police certificate in 2 weeks. go to DGI delmas 19 with a copy of your passport to buy the recepisse( it cost 28 Gdes) and with this, 2 photos, birth certificate, a photocopy of the passport you Go to DCPJ at Clercine.

Sometimes, the person who is in charge to sign the PC is not available. so the sooner you request it the better it is.

I think it is valid for us immigtation for 1 year.
