Hi

I am a little bit confused

I am a DV 2015 winner, I filled DS 260 form and submitted it and almost prepared the required civil documents required which mentioned in the site "http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/diversity-visa/if-you-are-selected/prepare-supporting-documents.html"

but it's not mentioning the need of "Affidavit of Support"

Do I have to prepare it or it's not mandatory ?

I believe the conclusion was that it is not mandatory, as long as you prove that you have enough money to not become "a public charge". I think I read on this forum that that sum is only $10,000.

Born in Romania, been living in the US since 2007 (F1 visa)

F1 visa 2007-2011, 2011-2016 - OPT received August 25, 2014

DV-2015 Selectee - Case Number EU30,7xx - Interview estimate: May/June 2015 (?) - Might try to do AOS though it looks like it might be worse this year

Hi, I have heard that you can bring job offer documents as affidavit of financial support at interview, but does US employer have right to offer job to such person who doesn't hold green card?

Is it possible to find job offer without holding green card before interview? (and after passing interview?)
