I have done it every time, never had a problem. The first 3 times were in Phoenix, but they were done a few years back, so I don't know if anything changed since then.

Do you tell them you come early? Or just walk in keep quiet.

They still accept early walk-ins...but like other vjers here...they told me it doesn't guarantee you anymore the early processing.

In my case...my bio was scheduled for May 28...I did an early walk-in last May 9. It's almost July...still no interview letter schedule. I was put in line for interview since May 15 though. But still no update. I don't know if San Francisco is just flooded with applicants or it's the system.

Phoenix, az early walk in for biometrics was a NO GO. Said they do not allow walk ins anymore or more specifically, her words were "we don't do that anymore" and she wouldn't even let me speak to her supervisor. Extremely rude. Huge waste of gas and time.

I tried as well last year and was refused -- they said for security purposes they no longer did them.
