wow man, that's good!

Almost like ND wages man......

They've lost a huge workforce here because of people moving out of the area to warmer climates and when businesses grown here there isn't enough people. Plus, some young people go to the Bakken.

The housing is also really cheap.

Oh shush, they have old houses in Minneapolis too, same area, made with the same stuff.

And my money pit is still going to cost 200k less than a similar house in CT, where there were no full time, year round jobs at that wage with benefits.

what do you do if you get a call for an interview and

1. the lady called your mobile number but asked for a different name. when i said my name was xxxx, she said "oh! you're xxxx [last name]! is that (she spelt my name out)?"

2. you couldn't hear the name of the company because the line was so garbled

3. she said she would call me back to set up an interview date but has not...

I'd pout a bit, since I'd know I was not on the first called list and likely on the never get a call list.
