Outlet prices? $200-$300 USD

The outlet here is constantly having 50% off sales. So they drop in half. Get them off the clearance racks and they can be even cheaper. Like the wallet sized bag my wife got was only $32, regularly $90. The new leather bag was $120 something, regularly $300.

coach at the outlet malls go for anywhere from $60 for smaller bags to $400 for larger, newer styles. i think they can go up to $800+ at regular department stores? not sure.

LV, Prada - 4 figures, but worth every cent for a classic, lifetime purchase :)

Coach, LV, or what have you, none of these bags are costing the companies more than $20 to make, and more likely less than 10. Its all in the name and hype.

i agree that 90% of the price tag is the name and hype...but i feel the workmanship is executed much better than any knockoff or non-brand bag out there. these bags can last a lifetime, and can be handed down to your kids, even, if maintained properly.

same thing with shoes.

My fake bags have held up pretty well, much much better than a price equivalent at a retail store like Target.

noooo nola don't support piracy! the knockoff industry is famous for using sweatshop labor, and has links to human trafficking, the mob, etc. :(

i know a lot of designers have factories in developing countries where sweatshop labour is also a problem, but they are held to more accountability than the average joe selling knockoffs from a pushcart.
