Have you asked her how she's going to get around? What she's going to do? Why can't she wait a year until he's 18 and an adult?

Stretch's daughter is cradle robbin'......

I know she's 19 and he's 17. That's why I said to ask her daughter why she cannot wait a year until he is an adult.

That's just too bad to hear. My condolences.

It's very sad and very sudden. She apparently had an non-diagnosed hole in her colon and it led to septicemia. :(

Even if you guys can't make it, a really heartfelt letter/card saying what she meant to your husband will also be truly appreciated.

oh he'll go, he just can't miss too much of this class which he won't since it's on a sat. even if i don't go due to expenses, he will go. he'd rather fail the class and have to take it again 2 years from now than not go to this funeral.

That is part of my issue with this trip. She would be stuck.

Sad news... one of my husband's best friends from childhood's mother passed away. So tomorrow he is trying to see if he can go to the funeral because she was like a second mom to him, and really helped his own mom out when she separated from his dad. I hate seeing my husband cry. :( It's this weekend and we leave for OKC on Wed. :( Flights are ridiculously expensive too. :(

I'm so sorry (F)(F)

Well in age she is older but she's much younger in maturity.

Oh my how terrible.

I just told my daughter to wait and have him come here. She then says that he can't get a passport because he has no way to go get one. So I'm supposed to trust that his family who won't take their own kid to go do things with my kid.
