Tiff didn't think there was anything wrong with that, and called me petty.

What do you think about talking with her in a non-confrontational way, for about 2 hours, complete with photos, powerpoint slides, and financial statements?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

See, not in WASP society. You always are supposed to call first and ask if you can bring your guests and listen politely for hints like "oh it is just supposed to be a small affair" or "oh I don't know if I have enough room for everyone to sit" that would indicate your guests are not welcome.

In my wife's culture, what is happening to Steve is exactly what would happen there. I'm thinking Malay culture is not much different from Filipino culture. Except Filipinos know to keep a lot of noodles a rice on the table, and let the invited guests get first crack at the good stuff. They also always make enough food to feed three times the expected turn out.

Told her that for the last 6 years, that I've been talking till I'm blue in the face.

Told her that the big typing point was last year before, and during the Malaysia trip that she constantly, subconsciously, put everyone else ifo me and my daughter...

Told her that she's never content.

And if I spend a hundred bucks on her friends or family, it's ok

Good forbid I spend a hundred on me.

I pointed out that when her friend was pregnant, and asked to borrow a very nice chair for nursing, I just gave it to her

Mentioned that I bought her sister a kindle, because Gump wasn't going to get her anything..

Bought her other sis in Malaysia a Michael kors

Long list..

But when I bought my friend a gallon of milk the other day...

And I made steak and eggs for my friends.....

I flipped my lid last night and told her that I don't care anymore. And I really meant it.

I think she's scared now.

Maybe she actually listened to you for once? I know sometimes women can be that way. You'll have major complaints, that they view as just a passing irritation which can be ignored. My ex was very much like that. Even if I could get her to realize something was a major issue with me, she'd then go out and find friends to say it shouldn't be, and she could go back to her denial of the problem.

Like I said. She's cooked about 5 meals in 6 years.

I used to cook 2 or 3 times a week.

But since returning from Asia, I stopped.

I didn't want to cook for the Gumps

Tiffs sis is another one that bit the hand that feeds her
