Looking all over for a job for hubs. Really can't stand living with my family anymore, and just generally need our own space. Finding an affordable living situation is proving tough though.

Hope you all had a nice 4th, though! :)

Living with family sucks! I agree! As much as I complain about our lack of being able to find an affordable home, at least we don't have to live with family.

BIL and family are headed to Norfolk Virginia as he was stationed on a boat there I think.

I'm sorry your day did not go well Tbone.

Thank you, Niki-Bone. See next report. Forgot to mention that we got Mini-B. a Shamu bubble-blowing gun (with bubble bottle screwed on beneath) whereby he pulls the trigger and makes bubbles. He used up the whole bottle while in the park. He played with it again during his bath at home tonight. Of course, it cost $Many, but it was the only souvenir that we got, and it was worth it, wee man.

1. TBonez - just read your See-Vorld report - ouch man - but it's good SHE got it out of her 'system' - I will only say 'this' about 'that' - I miss AstroWorld in ways I never thought I'd think about, as an adult.

2. As to yer back problems - you should get to a chinese accupuncture specialist NOW , get the needle work done. Sure, it's a temporary fix, but what could you do with 2 weeks of NO PAIN ? I know my answer - I hope yours mirrors mine.

1. True, D man, and I miss AstroWorld fiercely, too, sigh man.

2. Read report below, see and sigh man.

Good cheap choice, $i ma'am. We got an Amana for even less (still made by Whirlpool), and I'm beyond pleased with it, whee man. It has been dished and is in progress right now, si man.

Many down, Many to go (don't wanna get schooled by tarklar again...)

LPoP and unread, no see ma'am, but, hypothetically, if you happened to be folding wontons, it can be therapeutic, see ma'am, and you can do Many and have as Many more in the pipeline as you choose, whee ma'am.

Vacation wrap-up report, see man:

Went to bed after VJ'ing on Fri. night, zzz man.

Wanted to turn in at Many p.m. (before midnight).

Drunken redneck fireworks yahoos kept us up (fortunately, not zonked-out Mini-B., wee man).

Motel front desk blew us off when we inquired, grrr man.

Back was on fire, ouch man. Popped expired but still heap-strong medicine, swallow man.

Only semi-palatable sleeping position was on stomach, weird-for-us man.

Awoke at Many a.m. on getaway day with idea to de-water self in bathroom. Massive pain, ouch man.

Writhed in agony trying to get into position to get out of bed, ouch man.

Ripped bedclothes all to hell in doing so, sigh man.

But for nightguard, would have ground teeth into powder, sigh man.

Sweated like a baastard; begged the awakened Mrs. T-B. to adjust air conditioner, sigh man.

Icepack on offending muscle eventually enabled cessation of mind-blowing pain, whee man.

After perhaps half an hour, managed to arise, ouch man.

Limped toward bathroom, bracing self on furniture, shaking in pain, ouch man.

Managed to de-water self (thankfully, not emergent) one-handed, without decorating outside fixtures, pee man.

Limped back toward bed; managed to get back in, ouch man.

Convinced Mrs. T-B. to find 2 Bufferin tablets; popped same, ingest man.

Laid on stomach with icepack atop back; reawoke at Many a.m. (hour & a half), no zzz man.

Writhed constantly without groaning too loudly until alarm rang at Many a.m. (<2 hours), no zzz man.

When alarm rang, yelled for Mrs. T-B. to kill it. Begged for second icepack, si man.

Took another half-hour to position self to get out of bed, ouch man.

After caucusing with Mrs. T-B., asked morn desk clerk for Minor Emergency Centers nearby, see man.

There was one, very nearby, whee man.

Limped into lobby to pitying stares/comments of onlookers, stare man.

Managed to get into Mrs.-T-B.-mobile & survive her jerky driving, ouch man.

Managed to wheedle a patient position ahead of Many other customers, diplomacee man.

Nevertheless, waited Many minutes to be seen, bracing self on counter (could not sit, no man).

Was intaken; saw foreign un-understandable doctor whom we thought was blowing us off, sigh man.

Was delighted to receive injection of muscle-relaxant in right butt-cheek, whee man.

Was equally delighted to receive injection of hydrocortisone in left butt-cheek, whee man.

Charge was only my regular clinic copay ($Many), astonishment man.

True to promise, relief began in half an hour, whee man.

Was able to stoop, reach, lift, & pack, amazing man.

Gave Mini-B. a ride down on luggage cart, letting him punch buttons on the "alligator" (elevator), wee man.

Desk clerkette was thrilled to see the improvement, see no ouch man.

Packed stuff; checked out; nice desk clerkette didn't charge us for late check-out, no man.

Was actually able to drive in only semi-discomfort, semi-ouch man.

Mrs. T-B. kiboshed any GSs, sigh man.

Drove an hour; ate Italian for lunch, eat man; drove 2 hours, stopped to de-water, pee man.

Drove last hour in Many separate bug-spot-clearing deluges, creep man.

Got home at Many:Many; ministered to cat and immediately took nap, zzz man.

Awoke with back hurting, ouch man. Icepacked it again & walked much of it off, limp man.

Optimal weather (soupy humidity, muted eve sun, no breeze) caused desire to lawn-mow, industrious man.

Popped 2 aspirin; waited; attired self; trimmed hedges to no ill personal effect, no ouch man.

Mowed front yard; no ill personal effect, no great ouch man.

Chased Mrs. T-B., Mini-B., & cat from back yard; mowed back yard to minor ill effect, minor ouch man.

Ill effects arose from height & lushness of grass, which could not have gone another day, si and no man.

Two-year-old lawnmower needs repair or replacement, sigh man (we are rough on mowers, see man).

Somehow was not dined upon by any mosquitoes or hormigas del fuego, no man.

Made it upstairs without help; showered without ill personal effect, si and si/no man.

After off-cooling, ate dinner, read books to Mini-B., and played Fetch with cat, ingest wee miu man.

Shall nuke self with two heap-strong medicines tonight, whee man, after de-dishing the warsher.

---

In short, sitting and lying down are still uncomfortable, but I could never have made it home without that meat-tenderizer, no man. Weirdest back-muscle ever -- not lumbosacral, for once. Probably happened from having sat in backless chairs and from lifting Mini-B. while he swung between us during mall-walking, think we man.

---

Was probably stupid to have lawn-mowed, but it could not have waited another day, si and no man.

Cat (albeit at feet) seems to understand why Cat-Daddy had to limit throwing her fuzzy pompom, miu man.

Mrs. T-B. says that, next time, we won't wait so long to seek help for my back, no man.

She also considers me to be an idiot for having lawn-mowed, sigh man. Tomorrow will tell, si man.
