He can go to the campus job placement center. I think it's allowed, as she's an employee.

Does he seem like the type who'd do that?

Seriously - no internet access at home for Jadarina of St. Basils until:

1. he has a job and

2. he has a drivers license and

3. he has a job as a bus driver for the school district (not the college, but the other) and

4. he passed his GED exam and

5. he went through an entire semester of junior college there in New Joisey.

alternatively - if he joined the Marines and survived boot camp, then maybe a life is possible with him.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I vote for going into the military. I think it'll be the only thing that may make him into a man. Although I have known some men to be in the military and end up being f**ktards when they got out.

Now my mother brings a guest, and the guest calls her son to come, and the son brings his daughter....people that I've never seen before in my life. And I was supposed to serve them rib eyes and 20 dollar a lb shrimps......

Lobsters at Steve's !

It's truly a free for all here now.

Me and my buddy just flung everything on 2 grills at once and dumped it in the middle of the table and walked away.

I'm sitting upstairs now, and they're having a great friggin time outside. At my expense. This is the last holiday cook out I'm having. That's it. It's getting fing ridiculous.

You and the Darklar are tards......

You need a high school diploma or better to get into the marines.

Man Darklar is your brain fried? Did you shoot 1 round too many outta the Abrahams ?

I said nothing about marines. I said military.

Pretty sure the army takes scrubs.

Or he can get his GED first.

Hubs steak was a little more rare than mine. I should have thought to cook it longer since it was a bit thicker. Next time I know.

He complained because the first bite was yucky, but said the rest was fine, just under-cooked for his tastes (even for mine really.) He can nuke it for all I care though, he only ate half. Mine was fantastic. He asked why i get upset when he doesn't like something, well it's because you didn't like it and I wanted you to. I don't take criticism that I screwed up from him very well. Other people I'm better at it, because their opinion doesn't matter as much. Part of it is his delivery, and part of it is because he's my husband and his opinion matters to me. Even if it shouldn't. So I get defensive and upset.

My friends told me a story about her parents. (I think it was her parents) When they first got married he told his wife how great her cooking was. No matter how bad the food was, he always smiled and ate it happily and told her it was delicious. Well after some time her cooking got better, because he always told her how great it was she was willing to try new things and enjoyed cooking. She became a great cook, and by no means am I saying you aren't a great cook just your husband should be quiet as he is not doing the cooking :P

I let my kids do a lot of cooking, even if they pic pigs and a blanket and macaroni and cheese. I said mac and cheese as it's not the box stuff :P if they are cooking I don't care what they are cooking as long as I don't have too :D

Ah Steve sorry your BBQ didn't turn out fun for you.

My parents often had this happen to them, maybe that is why my dad drank so much.

See, not in WASP society. You always are supposed to call first and ask if you can bring your guests and listen politely for hints like "oh it is just supposed to be a small affair" or "oh I don't know if I have enough room for everyone to sit" that would indicate your guests are not welcome.

I guess he figures at least he's telling me what he actually thinks. He's telling me the truth and not lying. And if I don't cook, no one does. A little annoying really, as I thought it was something he wanted to do. He says he's not as imaginative as me when it comes to cooking, but then follow a recipe. Who cares? I've always enjoyed when he's cooked for me immensely. Even if it's just egg salad or a simple breakfast of toast and eggs.
