Please do not put a dog on craigslist unless you ask a decent rehoming fee. Bait dogs for the fighting ring are obtained through craigslist. People who like to kill animals obtain dogs through craigslist. Sure many dogs find decent homes through craigslist, but the incidence of abuse of animals that are free to good home is high.

Of course I know that. Have to do proper vetting too.

Just wanted to bring that up, since it was missing. Some people think they're doing a favor by the free to good home thing. But if they can't afford a reasonable rehoming fee, they can't afford to care for a dog either. And just recently there was another case of some freak getting dogs on craigslist then dismembering them in his motel room. The world is full of sickos.

:yes::yes: apparently that guy said this was practice. He'll probably get some short sentence, and then continue on to humans some day.

Finally got the best nights sleep that I've had for a long time. Maybe 7 hours.

Haven't slept 7 hours in weeks...

I slept 7 hours one day a couple weekends ago. But then sleeping more than 6 hours isn't the norm for me.

 that is good to hear. Hopefully it will become a norm soon.

I halved my coffee intake and sleeping in the living room....I don't wake up every hour but only after 5 solid hours of sleep.

Or Jada could help to get the poor dog adopted by someone else.

Post adoption ads on craigslist

No. Never, Merrytooth, do this. Please not suggest it to anyone else.

As Cary mentioned, most folk that kill dogs get them off of CL.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Keep the faith, Bro D.

Oh, I have kept it.

Faith works for me, sometimes. I rarely recognize God's hand in things, when he's carrying them, but I recognize it, always, after.

Last night she told me she wants to work on the marriage, stay married, and not divorce. Lots of other details, but that's the gist, for now.

Cries of joy, but in the same breath, many things to do today.

i am leaning towards leaving the dog - it is extra money I do not have to take care of her, time that I won't have at the beginning either and most places don't want pets in apartments...poor dog though.

Walk away.

or ask MIL directly for 2000 to handle immediate dog expenses [apartment stuff, gear, vet visit, etc]

For the first time, she mentioned about emotional stuff, and wanting to stay in the marriage. seemed a break-through for me, back from the dark side. Do pay attention to rLogan's stuff, though - I've mentioned him to you on occasion.

Jada I would leave the dog, as your inlaws do not know about your divorce.

Yay, hopefully you can repeat it.
