So, I applied at the same company my husband applied to but after he did. He got a rejection notice in the mail in about 24 hours. It has been like 5 business days and I've heard nothing, no phone call and no letter. Mind you, I'm a much better fit because it is a tech company and I can program in a couple of languages and am more technically inclined, but should I follow up with them or just leave it be?

Oh I want Starbucks now.....

Here's how to make it at home.

Materials:

1. coffee maker/pot, that stops dispensing coffee when you pull out the carafe

2. coffee

3. coffee filter

Steps:

1. add coffee for a full pot (10 or 12 cups) into the coffee filter .

2. place coffee filter INTO the coffee machine.

3. add a full pot of water

4. let brew till carafe is half full

PULL OUT THE CARAFE - what's inside is jet fuel. Put into your favorite mugs immediately.

Return empty carafe to coffee machine, let it finish its brew cycle.

Now, I know many of you will think - eh - just half coffee and half water amounts, it's the same.

AND IT'S NOT !!

I'll do this 3 or 4 times each week, it's strong and not bitter. Just like StarBucks.

we are going out for sushi :D you guys want anything? :P

2 female sushi servers, preferably auntie-age and scantily clad. Thank so much, and Thanks in advance !

how old is auntie age?

mid 40s to mid 60s.

Is ok to settle for late 30s, but that's settling, and who wants that ?

Hubs turns 30 next year.

The year after I'm 35.

EEK!

Middle aged!

We are quickly approaching there too.

I woke up one day and I'm like, where did my youth go?

sorry, i've no predeliction for non-asian aunties... still - it sucks to get old.

My son's mother - I was 6.5 years younger than her, married her in my mid twenties after getting out of The Green Team. I dunno, I try not to be an age-ist, but it seeps round the edges sometimes in a seminal fashion.

geez what a convo you are all having. What will you say when you are 70 heh ?

oh thanks for the coffee making tips

my attempt at teaching hubs a lesson by not cleaning up failed terribly. The dogs ate it all as I was showering and pooped in MIL's bedroom. sigh. Fail.

But I really wanted a Corvette :(

So drop 12K in Texas, fly and buy. Done all the time in Dallas and Houston.

Don't need to be a new one, just one drive-able. ;) Whilst yer here, get the inside redone by the chop shops...

I vote for leaving half-plates in his room, newly piled, when he's not there.

No, not need to be his food - just any food, any plate.

Why? Is always fun to fill the poo palace !!!

I'm starting to see the logic of some cultures' aversions to dogs and cats in the home.
