Sounds like a waste of time and money. Why the heck do you need a hearing when all the terms of a divorce are agreed to. Tell him you're going to a WoW convention, with screaming gaming computers provided.

it is a part of dissolution....the hearing takes place between 30 and 90 days from filing. I just need to sign the remaining forms now and get it filed which is the lawyers job anyways, all the rest is fine. I can fly here and kick his ### to the office with a judge on the date. One reason i got a lawyer is to make sure I know when the "court" date actually is since I bet he would conveniently forget to mention it to me.

also....the judge thing annoys me too...what do they need us to tell the judge anyways..our forms have nothing in them since i want nothing from him. he can keep his savings although part of me wants to say...you know what ? pay me back half the money i spent on you and discount the dentist and food from it. frikin uh. going to be paying it back for 2 years...1k a month. sob.

well you are an exec that works in a different way then they do. As i said before...I spoke to them and because they need someone as soon as possible it pays off for them to wait an extra week for me rather than repost the job offer.

Paying what back?

I took out a loan to come here and pay for my food and visa applications and flight etc etc. and for interview travels and for the relocation now. I owe 25k to my sister.

He would not use his savings and doesn't make enough.

I agree with Steve on this one don't make the job wait, they can always pick up the next person they interviewed like they did with you when the last guy turned them down.

I'd say I can't believe your husband didn't help out more but sadly I can believe he didn't, hopefully the divorce is done fast.

he does not feel like any of it is his concern...he is married and that means he gets to be babied and does not need to be part of any major decisions or be involved....and he still does not understand that this is not how marriage should work and still pouts and looks at me badly because I am leaving him as if I am doing this all to hurt him, he is the one in pain, nobody else. A man if told that i am getting a private judge just to suit his needs since i know how he is would say...hey you know what ? "let me pay for that since that is my issue not yours"

instead he posts on stupid dumb facebook (are we 13 ?) "excuse me if i dont thank you for something i did not ask you to do" sure you did not but you also would not show up at court and nobody is expecting a thank you anyways. GOD !
