It is just hard for me to let go of being a perpetual student. It has been my entire 27 year life at this point.

Also, a little hard to let go of my dad wanting me to use the money to finish school. I get that he and my mother would have wanted me to finish, but even my mother is coming around to realize that having a degree and a career might be a little far off for me. You can't let the dead control your life which you are actually living.

Just do what you makes you happy. That is what matters most.

Not really when you have a family and a child. I'm a firm believer in doing what is best for your family and that personal happiness always second to your children.

I have to agree. My parents , for example, only stayed together "for the good of the family"...our lives were filled with constant name calling, fights, alcohol and occasional physical fights and we were dragged into the fights as well which certainly was not good. I think it depends on the situation but kids can tell. We prayed our parents would just leave each other.

Went with Mini-B. to give Mommy's car a drink and then to Aldi Foods, wee man. Spent most of the afternoon researching new tyres, sigh man.

Onlinetires.com has the Windforce, $Many x many + shipping = $Many, and I'd have to haul them to someplace that would install them and pay for that, sigh man. Looks like a lousy tyre, too, sigh man.

NTB has the Aspen Touring for $Many, drive-out price for Many = $Many, sigh man. However, it's a Many-mile treadwear warranty, and the guy hadn't heard complaints about them, unlike with the equally priced Epic Touring tyre that NTB also sells, no man.

Must first visit the used-tyre shop that's open weekdays-only. Maybe at least two of the tyres will be adequate, si man.

well when you posted this we were in Missouri. Home now, we left 4:30 am got home at 1:30am,

We will talk again tonight, I am not so hopeful. This will be an easy talk, less than 10 minutes, going over options. short list:

1. see a marriage counselor well versed in china transitions (already found her)

2. separate and peg a milestone to it.

3. divorce

that's it. if the milestone is meaningful, we'll get back together easily, else not.

I'm still doing laundry, started at 7 am. I have to wash every thing, toys, cloths, blankets, everything that we had with us and brought home. My parents smoke, even though while we were there they smoked outside every thing stinks of smoke and I don't want the kiddies putting things in their mouth with that yukky stuff.
