The definition of an Expert is anyone who lives Many miles away from you, sigh man.

Saturday back-report, si man (distilled from Other-Activity report), see man:

Before bed, took Many (2+1) steroid pills as experiment, ingest man.

Slept almost Many (2+2) hours (tying a record) before prematurely awakening an hour pre-alarm, zzz man.

However, awoke in at least same pain as usual, sigh and ouch man.

Took Many (2+1) steroid pills, hoping for better relief than minimal amount from usual 2, si man.

Said relief never materialized, no and sigh and ouch man.

Pain worsened throughout morningful of activities, si and sigh and ouch man.

Stagger-limping drew stares everywhere, all see man.

Returned to casa at 1 p.m.; awaited Mrs. T-B.'s arrival after 2 p.m., suffer man.

Convinced Mrs. T-B. to call Mexican medical clinic adjacent to Mexican supermarket, si man.

Mrs. T-B. called and gained answers to many questions, she man.

Hopped into Mrs. T-B.-mobile and commuted to clinic at 2:Many p.m., drive man.

Were served immediately as only customers at that time, whee man.

I asked nurse, "Habla inglés?" [do you speak English, huh ma'am], si man.

She said, "Of course, si man." I said, "Me too, see ma'am."

After refreshingly briefest medical-history form-filling ever, was called to back room, limp man.

Cuban doc's English abilities sufficient to enable banishment of Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B., see you she man/wee man.

Doc heard brief history with plea for hydrocortisone meat-tenderizer, hear man.

Doc shot right butt-cheek with kill-painer & left butt-cheek with hydrocortisone, whee man.

Both shots hurt like hell, ouch man.

Exam co-pay quite reasonable at $Many; price for both shots also fair at $Many total, $i man.

Mini-B. drew smiles from now-full waiting area with "Daddy feel better now, huh man?", wee man.

Mrs. T-B. wants to go to supermarket next door to buy fruit, she man.

Mrs. T-B. steps on our foot, nearly causing dislocation of back, ouch man.

Painful drive home at Many:Many p.m. includes stop at Chinese buffet for dinner materials, sigh man.

Am allowed nap, with cat; hedge bets by sleeping on right side vs. normally mandatory left side, ouch man.

Awaken (with cat) after Many minutes, end zzz man; tentative tests yield no increased pain, si and no man.

Back pain noticeably diminished, revealing severity of radicular pain that has hosed left leg, hmmm man.

Dishing the warsher & changing cat's bowls incurs no additional pain, no man.

Radicular pain hosing left leg diminishes considerably throughout eve, eye-opener man.

Able to climb/descend stairs painlessly, without supporting self on banisters, si and no man.

Cuban doc (who listened to and served the patient) = a hero, Cuba libré man.

Big test (after de-dishing the warsher) will be overnight, hope man.

Variables include duration of sleep and return-or-not of pain, see and see man.

Subsequent variables include heavy laundry-day, aarrgh man.

Feel like new man, newman man.

Plans include new caucus with regular doc (NOT at Spine Center) re what to do if pain returns, etc., si man.

"Vaunted" Spine Center at regular clinic can take long walk off short pier, drown man.

And yay! I have been reported! Hey, wait a minute, mister... humph!

You should feel honored ("honoured" if in Canadia), si ma'am.

Other-Activity report, see man:

Awoke hour before alarm but didn't leave casa till Many:Many, ache man.

Hit MS (moving-sale) where, out of not many offerings, the following was purchased, see man:

$1 = Levi's long-sleeved button-down shirt + T-shirt, si and T man

$2 = glass tray, signed by "Georges somebody," for Mrs. T-B., she man.

--

$Many = grand total, $i man.

=====

Passed several other GS signs but stopped at none, because of other plans & pain, si and ouch man.

Went to Used-Tyre store #1; selections insufficient, sigh man (see below, see man).

Went to resale shop for advertised offerings; found none palatable, no see man.

Went to Used-Tyre store #2; selections insufficient, sigh man (see below, see man).

Cruised for other used-tyre stores; nothing at only one stopped at, no and sigh man.

Stagger-limped through lunch at Chinese buffet, stare man, by virtue of Many%-off coupon, $i man.

Had Many plates piled high with Hibachi steak & pepper steak, burp man.

Left no tip because idiot hostess ignored pleas to seat us close to the buffet, grrr man.

At Harbor Freight, used coupon for free screwdrivers in half-minute transaction that took Many minutes, grrr man.

At clinic pharmacy, got final steroid taper-pack at discount rate, whee man.

Fought wearying traffic in retracing steps, sigh man.

Bought yearly registration sticker for T-B.-mobile; could not self-install because of pain, ouch man.

Wearily stopped at Firestone to inquire about tyres; got offer of discount on one set, consider man.

Returned to casa for aforementioned back-report activities, si and sigh and ouch and zzz and whee, man.

Observations after searching for used tyres, see man:

1. Claims of "Many% to Many%" of treadwear are exaggerated, sigh man.

2. Finding matching pairs of tyres is at least as big a challenge as finding matching bedsheets at resale stores, see man: great fitted sheet but no flat; flat but no fitted; same principle, sigh man. Second used-tyre store had one fabulously unworn tyre but no mate to it, no and sigh man.

Many. Just like resale-shopping, finding tyres is a serendipitous activity, sigh man, or a prolonged quest therefor, weary man.

Many. After one more store to call on (weekday-only), we might call various retailers to learn what new-tyre models are discontinued and marked down, $ee man. Unfortunately, nearest Sears had already sold most of theirs, sigh man.

Many. Lowest lines of budget tyres at Many retailers are being trashed by the consultants there whom I consult, si and sigh man, and not (as I perceive it) as an attempt to up-sell, no man.

I remain somewhat torn as to how to handle tyre-purchasing for a 200Many-model T-B.-mobile with Many miles on it that could last Many more miles or die unexpectedly and soonish for one or several reasons, sigh and no see clearly man.

1. I do.

2. I am as honored as you are when I report you.

Many. Glad your back is in less pain. Hope you sleep well tonight.

1. "I do"? Isn't J-Hueso a macho, huh man?

2. Mutual deprecation can be fun, whee ma'am! :P

Many. Thankee and zzz ma'am.
