mean? how? this is just a.....see other and say hello kinda thing. Not rekindle an old flame.......

C'mon. Just the other day you were reminiscing about 2008. Tiff is pregnant , and the one that got away is now divorced.

I would not have told Tiff about this if I were just having an innocent meeting with an old friend. You will make Tiff feel insecure. Not cool in my book, sorry.

yesssss we have finally our house back to ourselves. learned a few things -

1. no matter how fun our guests are, jonas and i are hermits, and do not like having others in our home (especially not for 3 nights)

2. some people actually do use up 1/2 a roll of TP each time they go

3. some people don't look at the toilet after they've gone, to check that they haven't had an explosive poo and left splatter on the seat (for reals, ewwww)

4. traveling for 2 months makes for really stinky shoes. like...toxic weaponry type smells. our guests have gone home but there's a distinct aroma lingering in our living room.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

oh you bet i'm going to. jonas was grumbling about that because he hates artificial scents like air fresheners and fabric softeners. then he stepped into the living room and simply said "ok."

No romance.

Tiff and kiddo are going too.

I don't know what I feel anymore....

You never bring the current piece along to meet with an ex piece. Nope.

You can totally pull a Nola though "Oh I went to see ex and his sister for coffee today, just thought I'd be honest". See honesty after the fact is still honesty, yes? I told the Dane that if he strayed I'd need to know immediately after the fact and it would be forgiven, so ####### for tat, right?

Part of the reason I try to not keep in contact with exes right here. Everyone assumes the worst. I almost can't wait for kiddo to be grown up so I can avoid her dad lol.

He can't be that bad if he is the father of your child and takes good care of her now? My mom and my step-dad stayed in contact till the end for my sake. She was even big enough to have him over for Christmas and when he was dying because she knew that he cared about me like his own child.

I hate #3. With a passion. I clean up that stuff daily - and no, it ain't mines.

Still, is easier to do when it's still wet. I can only imagine that is more difficult, when coming back to the house, and finding it quite dry. Hint - put a wet rag on the spot, hold it there (or duct tape it in place) for 5 minutes, then wipe all off. Chisel not required, using this method.

For #4 - a cheap fix is to thrown in scented baby powder into the shoes, 3 or 5 times each day till the smell is not noticeable.

Hubs used to get annoyed he was not around when I saw my ex at swimming lessons. So he came because it made him feel better. I think being preemptive and dealing with the problem when it happens is better than trying to forgive afterwards. Forgiving is not forgetting. He feels better, I feel better, everyone is happier.

It's not that he's a bad person. He is controlling but a good person. I just would like to not HAVE to talk to him and would like to be able to just not worry about all the issues that go with raising a child in two locations. Consent forms for travel, for wanting to change travel, for random things that don't need phone calls. If it's about her I don't mind. I even don't mind calls about how he can be a better parent. But the random just because? No thank you.

But you like to be in contact with your exes Nola and I do not. I do not talk to any other ex, and its not like I don't have a few back there. Hubs doesn't talk to his ex and I'm glad.

I don't talk to any ex's either. This is a fluke.....

and there's one more exception. For now......
