Here is a weird one, we had been piling up some boxes outside the backdoor because we hadn't had out dumpster picked up in a couple of days and I left one of them up and there is something alive that looks like a giant vole. I have no idea what it is. I had no idea what a vole was until I moved here. Eeek, but cute looking.

those are voles of unusual size, a.k.a VOUSes!

We have voles here in NYC. They're called rats.

They are there to keep the pet cockroaches company.

So, we went to NYC a few months ago and there is my daughter on a crowded subway platform screaming "I saw a rat! I saw a rat, mommy!" Everyone is looking all over for it. LOL.
