So, we should push you harder to make more money instead?

No you misunderstand.

People are saying that a man feels more worthy when he makes money.

I was only saying that my husband's worth wasn't measured on if he gets a job.

He isn't happier with one.

Serious business TML, but you really could both easily find work around here.

Plus, we are incredibly close to Canada, win win?

I'm definitely not happier working, but because I am a responsible adult, I am very seriously looking to find something for the fall while the little one is at school.

Where is here?

I was totally dreaming of moving to southern cali.

The weather is beautiful and everyone is so laid back.

I need an incredibly un-political area.

Though, that doesn't grant me access to said large amount of money from MIL lol.

Gawd. Idk. I'm just so torn with everything.

GL with California, I can't imagine that would be a low unemployment, cheap housing area.

North Dakota/ Northwestern Minnesota

We turned down 50k from my mother to come live here because the number would have had to be more like 200k to make sense, plus, I didn't want her holding it over our heads forever.

Except, hubby's mom is dying.

She's had cancer on and off for years and really only a matter of time.

I feel like an awful person asking him to move here.

Uhg the more I think about it, the worse I feel.

####### what is wrong with me. uhg.

Maybe he just hasn't found the right job yet. It's not so much to do with the money, but to be a fully participating person in society. How does he fill in his days?

Perhaps you should have him go back to spend time with her since he isn't working here.

head won't stop pounding. feels like one of the worst hangovers i've ever had, except i only had two sips of beringer before bedtime. is this a migraine?

Could be, I don't know what other people's feel like but the few I had in Denmark and one here, I was on the bathroom floor crying from the pain and also ready to throw up at any minute.
