Saturday GS report, see man:

Went to bed at Many:Many a.m., zzz man, and slept straight through until Many:Many a.m., when pain made itself known, ouch man; however, it wasn't at suicide level as it had been. Remained awake for a couple more hours (squirming but not thrashing) until just before the alarm was to go off at Many:Many a.m. Shut it off beforehand to spare the zzz-ings of Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B., she and wee man. Arose with moderate limping, ingested last remaining pair of steroid pills and a Many-mg Motrin, and was very nearly back to normal thereafter, whee man.

Hit Many GSs (all on the itinerary plus one found via signage), si man. The haul, see man:

$1 = queen sheets, 2 pillowcases (flannel)*

$1 = full sheets, 1 pillowcase (Martha Stewart)*

$1 = complete set of "Avatar" party cups/napkins/plates

$Many = 2 trucks & a Polo shirt for Mini-B.; Dickies slacks w/dry-cleaner tag still on**

Mini-B. was thrilled with his new trucks, wee man. I was pleased to fit into the Dickies slacks, which, at a waist-size of Many inches, would have been impossible just months ago, slim man.

Back-report, see man:

Back held up acceptably during GS-ing, whee man. Upon my return to take Mini-B. to his swimming class, Mrs. T-B. said that I had the option, because she had activities for Mini-B. afterwards. I opted out this time, pressing Mrs. T-B. for a grocery list, which was miraculously provided. Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. left, bye man.

The back still held up OK, so I contemplated the much-needed mowing of the lawn. No lawn-service Central Americans were in sight, no man. I ingested another Many-mg Motrin. With the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile uncharacteristically out of the garage, I was able to get to the edger, which promptly fired up upon being given fresh gas. I edged the driveway & back patio with no ill physical effect, si and no man. I then contemplated the much-needed mowing of the front lawn, see man.

This mowing was difficult (ratty mower, high grass), but there was no back pain, no ouch man. I contemplated the much-needed mowing of the back lawn, see man.

This mowing was even more difficult (ratty mower, high grass, increasing heat/humidity, no clouds), but there was no back pain, no ouch man. Had to take Many lengthy breaks. Of course, the only clouds appeared when I was sitting exhaustedly or was inside the casa, Murphy's Law man. Was bitten by only one hormiga del fuego, ouch man.

Finished job & blow-leafing, downed a bit more than half a gallon of Gatorade, staggered upstairs, showered, and lay down on bed under ceiling-fan to cool off, sweat man. Fell asleep around 2 p.m., zzz man. Mrs. T-B. came in about an hour (at Many p.m.), disapprovingly stated, "I saw what you did," and recommended that I repair to the spare room for a real nap, zzz man. This I did, with cat, miu man. Slept 2 hours until Many p.m., zzz man.

Awoke in more-than-moderate pain (from lying down). Ingested another Many-mg Motrin. Went out to one supermarket, to warsh the T-B.-mobile, and to Aldi Foods, industrious man. Spent $Many at Aldi. Returned; unloaded trunkful of purchases; put purchases away; ate first food of day (dessicated leftovers). Back aching noticeably, ouch and sigh man.

Warshed kitchen rags & lawn apparel, gross man.

Warshed newly purchased sheets/pillowcases, backache man.

Dished the warsher and must now de-dish it, ouch and sigh man.

Cat has given up on prospect of being played Wrappers with, miu and sigh man. Back is throbbing. Shall de-dish aforementioned warsher, then otherwise cat, then prep (including the ingestion of heap-strong medicine), then hopefully zzz, man. Mornin', Commie-babe(s)!

Also, took hubs to the aquarium yesterday. He really enjoyed himself, and took lots of pictures. It was nice to get out of the house and do something fun.

Did I mention we'll be getting our own apartment in September? Finally!!

and don't stress too much about the wisdom teeth...the injection to numb your mouth hurts the most, and that's just a little ant bite. then you'll be in pain-free bliss until the anesthetic wears off
