An Immigrant Visa takes a year or so and he would have to prove negative for TB to get one.

The practicalities of bringing some with medical issues of that age to the US is another issue.

Hi,

There is no way to get your father an immigrant visa in 3-4 months. An immigrant visa will take 8-16 months (and you can not expeditate where there is no hardship to the USC).

Also consider that you will be signing an I-864 for your dad. This will obligate you to reimburse the US government for any means tested benefits like Medicaid that your father will receive.

The US will not simply let an 80+ years old man with TB into the US for free treatments. He has to overcome the likelihood that he will be a public charge. You may be required to provide proof he will have medical insurance in the US. A medical insurance policy for him could be very expensive.

I highly suggest you look at how you will afford to pay for your dad's treatment if you want him here in 8-16 months.
