Salam !

Hello Guys hope all are good !!

My interview is near and i am little bit confused to answer of some question asked from you guys in Islamabad embassy !

One best more asking question that : HOW DID YOU MEET ???

In Pakistan society we know that our marriage decide by parents ( Arrange ) so what should be the good answer of this question ?

Because i did not meet my wife before marriage and just talk to her on phone 2 or 3 times only ...

If any one who has same situation please share your words for this question.

Looking your precious response

Thanku

Tell them what you just said. "It was arranged and we started talking by phone". "We meet in person on xx/xx/xx"

When they say "how did you meet". They mean that first encounter. Whether by internet, phone text, or in person.

I meet my husband on Facebook. I meet him in person 21 months later in person.

Since arranged marriages are socially accepted in your country and the CO knows this there's no harm stating that in interview if asked.

yes ! but the question : HOW DID YOU MEET : have lots of question inside .

I talked to her first time in JAN 2011 when my mother in law introduces her to me and my mother and mother in law are good friends before our marriage

but met in person in Dec 2012 just before 15 days ago our marriage :

So my answer should be :

I met her in 2011 on phone OR i met her in Dec 2012 ????

I was asked both of these question on 20th June during my interview.. 1) So how did you guys meet 2) Love or arranged?.... I guess you may say 1) We were first introduced to each other by her mom who is a friend my mom. We spoke on phone in Jan 2011. First in person meeting was in Dec 2012. 2) It is an arranged marriage.

There is a gap of almost two years between Jan 2011 and Dec 2012 which may lead to another question.. 3) How did you guys stay in touch.. you will need to specify whether its skype, phone, chat, lettersor something else.. Keep couple of screen shots of skype or phone bills to prove that .. just in case they ask for proof.

if relationship is genuine, you will get visa dont worry... they are just trying to filter fraudsters...

Good luck..

The gap is due to my study , when we talked in 2011 , i was in Sweden for study and we talk together just as a friend for 2 or 3 times only ..... our parents were deciding this marriage and i don't have any proof because it was my Swedish sim ...In short due to my tough life in Sweden i was not ready to involved with my wife at that stage..

This marriage was final in June 2012 and then we were talk on skype ....till today and i have proof of it
