filing AOS, mail or Walk-in and drop off to Chicago Lockbox?

I am located near the Chicago USCIS location and can easily just drop-off the documents. Should I mail to the Chicago Lockbox? or drop it off as if I am the courier service to

I would mail it with receipt needed or whatever it's called, then you get a receipt it was delivered. if you shove it through their post box you have no receipt at all.

Applicants are required to mail applications to a national mailbox (Chicago) as stated on the form (not your local USCIS office). Be sure to mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.
