I guess that's one way of looking at it. I don't see why anyone would report it the way it's used here in relation to the article. But It doesn't really bother me if someone is reporting - its not for me to say who and what offends any given person.

If I offend anyone in any way, I encourage them to report me. My primary concern is not being reported, it's that the response to the issue(s) being reported is consistent.

Africans practiced slavery long before there WAS an America. And America has abolished slavery, something which still goes on in Africa today. So why is it that a lot of folks want to talk about how the white folks in America kept black slaves to this day?

In fact, if memory serves correctly, muslims were primary runners & owners of slaves throughout history.

IDK, just seems kinda hypocritical how much focus is put on the slaves in America, and how bad white folks were for owning them. But I haven't heard too many condemning Africa for doing the same thing to the British, Irish, and Americans.

Firstly, your definition of ignoring me seems extremely selective. You have to make sure I know about it, as if it's supposed to have some meanjng. Whatever, I think it's pretty childish.

Secondly, the post about slavery and selective outrage was and is ignorant. Pointing that out isn't an insult, it's a fact and if you or Karee actually read the other responses to the Post I quoted you would understand why.

However, you seem to want to ignore that totally and get self righteously indignant because you don't like the tone of my post. Brilliant. Nice one guys.

Suggesting that there's hypocrisy because as far as the poster is concerned there's no outrage towards slavery and oppression in Africa is similarly ignorant because it shows no understanding of debates on the issue beyond the United States. There's no way around that.

And on that point why do you suppose there's more emphasis on the impact of slavery and segregation in the USA? Because it's part of the country's recent history. Say it isn't so!

You didn't say that though. You basically called the guy ignorant and walked away. Generally when insulting someone, it's probably a good idea to tell them why you think that.. Let me demonstrate. I'll use your moon example.

Why even bother posting that? Unless you're just trying to run up your post count (which is fine) I don't see the point.

If you're going to insult someone, at least tell them why and maybe provide some evidence of why you think they're a fool. Example:
