When my now husband went to his first interview in Kingston, he was denied the K-1 visa because I didn't make enough at the time. So, I got a co-sponsor, mailed all the documents to the embassy on his behalf, they called him and rescheduled the interview for like 3 weeks later. He got it then. I would say give them about a week after they receive the info/documents and they will call him.

They do not have a time limit and every case is different so it depends on them and there backlog. It took them about a month or maybe a little longer in my case because one document was missing at the time of the interview I emailed it to them the same week and it took over a month for them to review it.
