I just have a quick question.

I have been married to my US citizen spouse for about 6 years. My question is:

Should I file my application as been married with same spouse for 3 years

Or

File as just been a permanent resident for 5 years.

I don't know if there is an advantage of selecting either or. Also I am trying to avoid sending a lot of documents.

If somebody had a similar experience I would appreciate your input.

Thanks

filing at 3 years and married to a citizen requires more documentation which you currently do not need to do, as you qualify at the 5 year resident.
