First of all just letting you know that im new in the website and apologize for any kind of mistakes or inappropriate quotes...
Thanks for your inputs:

Here's my situation i was a student until 28 February 2014 and I left school because of financial matter since then and they told me they reported me on 28 February 2014 and my F1 status will be terminated so this means that I'm out of status less than 5 months. As my i94 says D/S and I have never gotten any notification from USCIS about my status I think my sevis is still active. So here's my question I'm married with a US CITIZEN and I apply for AOS in USCIS. I just want to know if I have to put my status in my forms as OUT OF STATUS or F1 STUDENT?

Thanks a lot and hope to hear from you soon guys

Peace

just put under status as F1 visa expired. i was under F1 visa too before i got married and i applied for aos a year after my F1 visa expired. so i just put F1 visa expired and then if there's a question about the date of expiration of visa, just put D/S.

Just put F-1 Visa expired. It's a good idea to attach a piece of paper to explain your situation regarding your current status. Don't be lazy just because there isn't enough space on the application. Just attach a separate paper. Also no matter what you decided to write, please DO NOT put your status as F-1 Student because you're NOT. And that's lying. Lying to USCIS is the worst of worst things you can do when you are going through the immigration process. Good Luck!!

In my application I wrote : F1 ( out of status) and for Expiration : D/S. I wasn't lazy just because I didn't write any explanation in a separate piece of paper, as matter of fact I worked my @$$ off putting this package together. Check my signature, no RFE's, we did not hire an attorney, I did my own BC translation to English. Everything has gone just fine for us. Good luck
