checking up on petition at the embassy

this may be a stupid question but how do you check to see if the embassy has received your petition? the nvc has mailed my petition off to the philippine embassy but i don't know how to check up on it from there.

Have you tried calling them with your case number from NVC?

You can also go to this page: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

And in the middle where it says "Click Here and Check for your Case Number" A box will pop that you enter your NVC case number and you can check the status of your case.

If your petition has left NVC, the embassy will have an electronic file of your petition. you can call the Embassy. they'll ask you for the case number. try calling 011-63-2-528-6300 ext 5184. best time to try is 7:30 to 8am manila time.

what YuandDan suggests will be how you will be able to check for the interview date.
