The question is, why is the religion the forefront? When a shooting or crime goes down here, it's never that Christian or that Baptist? If I went and shot someone, would I be the Navy Sailor who killed someone or that Muslim? I'd wager the latter, even if it had nothing to do with it.

No, you'd be that black Muslim. And the ultimate would be if you were gay too.:devil:

You know if that happened, I'm pretty sure there would be a field day here at VJ. Danno would come out of exile just to say I told you so.

Is this bigoted? If so, should it be pointed out?

It is not bigoted. It is factual. The statement does not even imply ALL Muslims are guilty of this murder. Would you have preferred it if it said something like: "...murdered in Libya by some Muslims... Obama apologized to some Muslims"? I am quite sure you would have issues even with that revision. Oftentimes your dissection of the English language is (Bill) Clintonian.

Or your grasp of the written word is sub-par. Had you considered that?

What is exactly was the context of Obama's 'apology'. Who exactly did he apologise to and what did he apologise for?

Was it to the people who attacked the embassy, or was it to muslims in general?

The answer changes the meaning of the text quite a bit, because just reading the words literally it kind of suggests that Obama apologised to the same people who murdered the four Americans.

Yes it is. Let's look at this shall we:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Hook_Elementary_School_shooting

The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut when 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children and 6 adult staff members.[5][6] Prior to driving to the school, Lanza shot and killed his mother at their Newtown home.[8][11][12] As first responders arrived at the scene, Lanza committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

Where is the mention of his religion? Was he a Christian? A Baptist? Non Denominational? Why isn't there a classification for his religion?

This monster killed 26 people, over half of them children, but we don't talk about his religion. Why is that? Where are the bumper stickers saying these kids were slaughtered by a Christian? So why isn't it mentioned here?
