Hi Everyone,

Getting ready to start the ROC procedures and I was wondering, do you include evidence of marriage for the total length of the marriage or just the 2 years while in the US? (We were married and lived together for a year before immigrating to the US).

TIA

Wouldn't you have submitted a lot of the evidence from before 2 years ago during the original Visa process? If not, then include it, otherwise the past 2 years should be sufficent since they more than likely already have the first year from your original visa filing in your casefile.

Yes I did and I made and kept the copies, so yes that is what I would be providing for that time frame. However, like you I thought why submit the same thing again, which is why I asked the question. It's easy enough to submit them again, so that's what I guess I will do.

The instructions do say total marriage. Obviously the stuff generated while living together will be better evidence, but I would include evidence that spans the entire marriage. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

You need to include evidences for last 2 years since you got your conditional GC. They already have your whole file. We get conditional GC after submitting evidences for marriage and only if they are satisfied with those evidences. They want to see progress in relationship after getting conditional GC. I just submitted evidences and pics for last 2 years and got approved within 3 months.
