Nostalgic Candy

I was bouncing around the internet the other day after a discussion with some co-workers and we decided to search for some older candies that reminded us of our younger days. I found a few websites out there and made a purchase. It's amazing the candy that is still being produced that is hard to find. I bought a jar of "BB Bats" and some Abba Zabbas. I know Abba Zabbas aren't hard-to-find candy but outside of the West Coast, they are almost impossible to find. One guy ordered some cinnamon toothpicks, hot dog gum, gold mine nugget gum and some Wisconsin Raisins. I'm already thinking about my next order! The only candy that they don't make that I love is the Marathon Bar. They are still made by Cadbury and are called the Curly Wurly in the UK. I used to have a friend that would go to the UK a lot and bring me back Curly Wurly's.

Of course you can still find the wax lips, bottles, fizzies, candy cigarettes and other candy....are there any candies that you remember as a kid that you haven't seen in ages?

I haven't seen Bubalicious gum in awhile. Of course, I stopped chewing it at about the time Star Wars first hit the theaters.

ha ha...I found Zotz. They were the candy that had some fizzy stuff in the middle of the hard candy exterior. Pop rocks can still be found.

I saw the Black Crows...you can still buy them.

Freshen Up gum was the gum with the liquid...you can still get that.

I used to like Fun Dip - that white candy stick that you dip into the different colored powders and lick it. I don't know if they still sell it...

my grandma must have bought no name brand ones... I don't remember them being ZOTZ.. the packaging was the same though, it was just in clear plastic with no label, as far as I can remember

Yes, they still sell that stuff and I hate it with a passion. Never gets consumed without being spilled all over.

They still make bubbalicious too.
