India passport with old address

My Indian passport has old house address & doesn't have my spouse's name on it .

Should I need to get a new passport with my current address and my spouse's name on it before my interview at the US consulate for IR-1?

~~moved to India forum from IR1/CR1 process and procedures as question is regionally specific... not all regions have spouse's names or addresses on their passports~~

I don't have my husbands name on it either. I dont think change of address invalidates your passport

USCIS

5/11/2013: NOA 1-130

2/21/2014: I-130 Approved

NVC Stage

3/17/2014: NVC received case

4/16/2014: NVC case number assigned

4/23/2014: DS-261 Submitted Online

4/24/2014: AOS bill generated and paid

4/29/2014: AOS bill shows PAID

4/30/2014: IV bill generated and paid

5/2/2014: NVC receives AOS Package

5/5/2014: IV bill shows PAID

5/7/2014: NVC receives IV Package

5/8/2014: DS-260 Completed and submitted

5/30/2014: Case Complete !!

6/5/2014: CC Email Received

6/11/2014: Interview Date Scheduled

7/17/2014: Interview Date at Mumbai

I need to add spouse name, in order to obtain police clearance, as asked by APO when I went to obtain PCC from passport office. So i got it reissued with my husband's name on it under tatkaal quota. Next is I am going to apply for PCC again. Did you guys get PCC just like that, I wonder? Please share your experience. Thanks

Service Center : Vermont Service Centre
Consulate : New Delhi, India.
2013/12/02 : Got Married in India
2014/02/13 : Mailed I-130 application
2013/02/18 : NOA 1
2014/06/04 : Received NOA2


NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC):
2014/06/30 : National Visa Center (NVC) received approved I-130 petition from Vermont Service Centre
2014/07/10 : National Visa Center (NVC) Case Number, IIN & BIN generated.
2014/07/18 : DS-261 available. Completed & submitted online.
2014/07/18 : AOS fee bill invoiced & paid online.

2014/08/15 : Mailed AOS package (Scan date-19th August)

2014/09/04 : IV fee bill invoiced & paid online.

2014/09/06 : Mailed IV package (scanned into system on September 10th)

2014/09/10 : Submitted DS-260

2014/11/07: New scan date for AOS checklist

2015/01/05: Case Complete
