I have made a payment on June 13, 2014 for Green Card fee, but today my wife got an email regarding the payment was no submitted due to insufficient funds. She is flying to JFK today and will be landing tomorrow noon. Will this create any problems for her as far clearing customs and get out from airport. I will be calling USCIS early in the morning to get this issue sorted out but I need VJ help to get me over this situation.

Don't worry you can pay when she gets here, that is not going to be a problem at the airport ...you will have a year to pay the fee for her green card, just make the payment as soon as you can so she can receive her green card.

Are you sure right, cuz I am stressed out right now. Do still suggest that I should give a call to USCIS? Ask them if they can take a payment over the phone.

I am 100% sure. If you want call them, but I guarantee you that she is not going to have a problem related to the green card fee. I will try to look for some post here on VJ about that to convince you :) I will come back with the link.

Sorry for the type-o's bad at typing through the phone. Anyways, I did called the USCIS, they seems to hard to convey and telling me I am lieing that you have not called your bank. Seriously. Hard times ahead I guess. BUT hoping she gets out from the airport SAFE and sound. I hope your case opens up very soon. Keep praying for you. :star:

I am happy for you, she is finally here! Wow, she was out pretty fast. According to the USCIS website the only way to pay is online....your payment was rejected because of insufficient funds so now what you can do is make sure that you have the $165 in your bank account and go back the USCIS ELIS website and make the payment. http://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-immigrant-fee
