I have a pretty promising job lined up so all I am waiting for is my EAD as my GC is going to take forever.

With my AOS package, I sent two photos as, at the time, I didn't think it would require two for each case.

Has anyone had experience of an RFE for photo identification?

I guess the RFE will delay me and possibly I might have to miss out on this great job if I make them wait too long because of this mistake I made.

So I wonder if there is any option to be proactive and send photos in now? Has that been done before? Do I send them to the same address I sent the AOS?

Regards

You won't get an RFE for lack of photos. Silly that they still ask for so many when they don't even use them. If you have a job offer, you can ask for, expedited EAD.

I was told this here however when I rang them to ask if it can be expedited the woman on the phone told me I need to meet one of the following criteria "list of criteria" for her to enter an expedite request however the only one I felt that I had a chance of meeting was the extreme financial hardship. Now that we have moved to the city its alot more expensive and maryland is more expensive for pretty much everything, and its going to become a struggle soon at this rate with only my wifes earnings, bless her.

Some in the past had received an RFE for passport photos when not sending in 2 for each form, but I have not seen anyone post about an RFE for photos for a bit. I agree with Nich-Nick and have no idea why they ask for them when they are not used. They use the photo they take at the biometrics appointment.

Here is a post about expediting based on a job offer > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/453753-how-to-request-to-expedite-your-ead-based-on-a-job-offer/

Where in MD are you, I am in Annapolis and I hear you about how expensive things are. Most people think the US is cheaper, not here it isn't.
