Would SNAP during college effect the future sponsoring of a parent?

Hi y'all! This is my first post on these forums so if I've messed up please tell me! Anyways, I'm a born US Citizen and going to college this August! FAFSA is helping me pay but I have a very taxing major and feel that I won't have time to work so I was thinking of applying for food stamps. Currently, I'm 18 and want to apply for a green card for my mother once I'm 21/22. I plan to be financially stable enough to support her by then, but was wondering if my receiving food stamps for the next 9 months would in any way hinder my sponsoring my mother? Thank you for any help all!! :)
