The NVC has received the requested DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application. However, we are still waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support. Please reture the requested information so that we may complete your case.

Any idea what they are asking for here? It seems like they have everything but they want a response...?

i dunno - part of it reads like a false checklist and part of reads like they actually want something.

can post the entire thing, redacting personal info?

After calling them, it seems like they are still waiting to process the AOS checklist, even after having processed documents they received well after this one. Their explanation was that they probably processed one of the documents we sent, which generated this checklist. Apparently, the AOS takes longer to check because it is a longer document.

i dunno - it might have been a false checklist. it may be, also, that the format of the template for what we call a 'false checklist' has changed.

Could you, would you, please, post the entire contents of that 'thing', with personal info redacted? Thanks so much, and thanks in advance.
