Hi! I have a few questions and I do hope you guys can help me. My I130 Visa was approved last May 3, 2014 and my husband and I have not receive any update from the NVC, does it really take a long time for them to call? or even answer emails? My husband has been trying to call them 2 weeks ago but they don't pick up.

Topic has been split off from unrelated thread in the NVC forum and moved here to the CR-1 Visa forum as the OP is pursuing a CR-1 visa, not an I-1 Visa and will be more likely to receive responses here.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Humm you should follow up with them... I have hada hell of a time getting a hold of them lately (i tried calling for 3 hours today, the line was always busy...finally got through and was then put on hold for 20 min. The girl who answered was very pleasent and told me that our case had been received but was not yet in the system. Our I-130 was approved 05 Jun).
I would advise calling until you are able to speak with someone... they are open until midnight EST, so try calling in the evening. Hopefully they can help you.

I think it's great that you're doing research, to help your husband along with the next stage of Visa Chasing.
