Baby on my interview day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our AOS interview was yesterday 01/16/07 @ 1145, on our way to Los Angeles center my wife went into labor and had a baby girl @ 01/16/07, 1606. I called INS, the operator told my not to do anything INS will write me with a new date. I have made an infopass on 01/25/07. I need help here plsssssssssssssssssssssss.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, I hope Mom and baby are both well.... I would go to the infopass appointment you have made and take along proof that you wife went into labour and your daughter was born on the day of your interview... they will reschedule it for you... try not to worry you have a hell of a good reason for not attending the interview.... it may just set things back a few weeks until you get another interview date.... for now take some time to enjoy your new daughter.... good Luck

Make sure you bring along everything you need for the interview to the infopass interview. You never know when they might schedule you for the actual interview. So be prepared in case they has an opportunity to fit you in.

Congratulations on the baby. She should provide proof of your marriage.

As his infopass appointment is next thursday it would be unlikely that his wife will be ready to travel and undergo interview so soon after giving birth.... he would be better to reschedule it for a few weeks later if he can...

Congratulations on your new daughter! Boy, do you ever have a good excuse for not making the interview while producing the best evidence you can to prove a valid relationship. I don't think you will have any problems:-).

If this isn't evidence of a bonafide relationship, I don't know what it!

You know what I would do? I would go to Infopass with the baby's hospital picture, the keepsake birth certificate, and a letter from her obstetrician.

Then ask the people behind the desk what they want to do about the fact you just couldn't manage to fit yourself into Department of Homeland Security's busy schedule that day........
