had my medical examination yesterday and this morning i was asked to go back on july 7 for my psychological evaluation due to my status which is annulled.they told me that it will take 4-5 biz days for me to get the result. anyone here who had the same experience/ what can you advice?thanx a lot

It is almost automatic with someone that has an annulment.

Yes, secondary screening. If you have everything in order, it is easy and fast. The biggest issue is how many K-1s are on the plane since there is only on K-1 line. On her flight there were 2 K-1s besides her.

DON'T make the POE a city other than your city. If you do that she has to do POE there, which may be long depending on the line, then claim her bags, put them through customs inspection and then recheck them. Don't make her do that under time pressure of making a connecting flight. Make POE your city, even if you have to spend more on the ticket. This way she can take whatever time it takes for all that stuff. Took Candy about 1 hour to get all that done.

Thank you. My, fiancé is flying with me so all the waiting at POE should not be a problem. Unfortunately, there's no direct flight to Chicago. Our POE will be in Vancouver. Praying all will be well and smooth-sailing.

Vancouver is not in the United States. So your POE will be O'Hare Airport in Chicago. As a USC you will be able to leave the airport during the layover, but she will not. I presume you will want to wait in the airport with her.

Vancouver is a preclearance location. All preclearance locations are considered a POE: http://www.cbp.gov/contact/ports/preclearance/preclear-locations

Yup, from Vancouver it is treated as a domestic flight.

I would tend to think so too, yes. Looking for a CBP link to this but couldn't find any. Found this instead: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_border_preclearance

- "When travelers from a preclearance port arrive in the U.S. they do so as domestic travelers (pre-cleared flights are always subject to reinspection at the discretion of Customs and Border Protection)."

So if a (K1 or immigrant visa holder) passenger has an in-transit flight to any of the preclearance locations, their visa packet will be surrendered there.

This journey had been nerve wracking and yet amazing! From compiling everything all together, the medical exam then the interview. Sheesh. So glad that part is over.

Now my focus is on spending my time with my fiancé and get married and be happy happy happy

Traveling with my wedding gown in a box... hope I won't encounter any problems with the airline.

I also brought my wedding gown in my carry-on, but I placed it in a good-sized thick paperbag. I didn't encounter any problem.
